The Most Affordable Area Rug I Could FindI seriously searched everywhere I could think of for an ivory shag rug for a reasonable price to suit my modern/minimalist styled apartment. Although it is still not my idea of the "perfect" shag rug, you really can't tell how inexpensive this rug is just by looking at it. Keep in mind that it WILL look and smell funny the first few days, but once given the opportunity to air/lay out, it will get better. It also helps to let it lay out in a "high traffic" area of your home so that it gets decent wear to make the shag more full looking. Also, I can't pinpoint what exactly it is, but this rug also left a very strange coat on my bare feet when i walked across it the first few times after unrolling.. Not sure if it was some weird dust or powder or what, but I used my Bissell to shampoo it and have had no other complaints since. Hope this review helps
