Very happy, few small complaints.This desk is as advertised, Very obviously handmade You can smell the fresh lacquer before you even open the box, and there are still scribe lines on the bottom from marking the measurements. and solid, The desk top is beautiful. and has a nice clean gap free finish. I have only a couple complaints, and they are small, are that there are runs on the underside edge from overspraying the lacquer, and that the pre drilled holes for the legs were not square, or even in a square for that matter. The pre drilled hole aren't strictly speaking necessary, I didn't even use them, but the underside of the desk just makes it look like the craftsman didn't care much about his or her work and it devalues the workmanship a bit. So I measured and squared the legs one inch off of the corners and screwed them in, no pilot holes necessary I was supplied with two sets of hardware, one quite a bit larger than the other, and at first blush just by comparing to the edge of the desk it looked like the larger hardware would be long enough to poke through the desktop, be warned I opted for the smaller hardware and the desk feels very solid, no issues.
