What is the advantage of this Telechron Wooden Starburst Clock?

This is inspired by George Nelson's Design. Kirch and Co. follows up the original designs and re-creates this wooden starburst crown clock. Triangular Wooden spindles plus metal radiating “protons” brings features transitional style and green thoughts. silver and black clock face with white hands. Arabic numerals 3 6 9 12 only.

H. Tseng: Small clock face, cheap materials

Even at a 30 discount from amazon warehouse, this clock's is made in Taiwan with a cheap mass produced quality: Thin pressed metal clock face and hands, cheap rays are made from a soft wood that is stained more a natural cedar wood tone than the brighter orange of the description pictures. The interspersed "metal" rods and balls feel almost plastic. The time keeping mechanism is also very cheap.
