Claudia: Perfect Fit

My pit bowl is 14.5" x 14.5" edge-to-edge and I inquired if this would fit inside or outside my bowl. I received conflicting answers so I ordered it anyway along with a larger one that had rubber feet just in case. It's a perfect fit When one buyer said their lid fit on top, now I know what they meant see pic 3 . And my weather cover fits fine over the pit when not in use The plate glass is very thick and heavy and the fittings are solid. I was a bit confused whether the screws are supposed the be flush but the instructions say don't screw too tight so, I stopped when I couldn't turn anymore and the screws are not flush, so I'm hoping that's okay. It's been raining since I got it so I haven't been able to test it out yet, but I'm pleased so far. I was looking for something that fit inside my bowl to save the much needed table space and I'm glad I found it for less than a hundred bucks
