Amazon Customer: Gorgeous and sturdy

Beautiful rich stained legs, almost a caramel color closer to natural rather than mahogany big linen colored shade and black cord Not shown in Amazon picture hanging from base of adjustable center pole that allows you to choose the height of the lamp. I would prefer a cord that was clear, but the lamp is gorgeous as it is. Very happy with my purchase until I realized the three way light switch does NOT work. I ve adjusted my rating to 4 stars because of it.
