Latiffe A.: Too tall for average height people

While the design is beautiful and assembly was easy we cannot use the stool as intended. I am 5'5" and I cannot reach the floor on the lowest height. I don't understand how tall one must be to sit conformably on this stool. We wished that it would go down at least 6 more inches or that it had a foot rest so that your feet don't just dangle.
