Husbands - read this before your wife buys this behind your backI hate this light with a holy burning passion. With regard to the aesthetics... it looks like the picture, and if you like the picture you'll like the lamp. My wife loves it and continues to rave about its beauty and her excitement about showing all of her friends. The installation was like entering the 7th circle of hell. I am certain that my wife bought this lamp in retaliation for giving her a 300 limit on her dining room lamp. She read the reviews, made herself fully aware of the pains of installing this chrome and fake crystal abomination, and gleefully clicked on "add to cart". Because I have to lash out in some form or fashion, here is a step by step detail of the pain and suffering I experienced assembling this carefully disguised torture device.
