If it wasn t pretty and made of strong, heavy material I would give this one star. I m a pro at assembling furniture but this is easily the hardest, most frustrating and enraging piece of crap I ve ever screwed together. The holes do not line up. The screw locks break with ease. The springs that hold the lid are so stiff that they keep the chest from closing at all. The pre-made holes for the screws are useless. I had to use power tools to put this thing together and that absolutely should not have been necessary. The instructions are only a rough guide and they are borderline useless. This took several hours to assemble and it SHOULD NOT have been that difficult.
