So you like some flexibility when you lean back in your chair No problem The tilt tension knob below the seat allows you to adjust the amount of resistance you'll encounter whenever you settle back in the seat.

Unscrew the center-mounted knob on the footrest ring, then raise or lower the footrest to an appropriate height for you. Once you find the right altitude, tighten the knob to keep the footrest in place right where you want it. Footrest does not move with the seat.

Use the handle below the seat on the right side to adjust the chair up or down to a height that's just right for you. Pneumatic assistance makes those elevation edits easy.

Ordered this chair for a co-worker and it was great at first now a handful of months later it has lost its cushioning. I don't recommend anyone buying this chair, they need to improve on the cushion material used. Now we are trying to figure out how we can call in the warranty or return it.
