Ariel: Beautiful rug - but very sage green

This rug really is as stunning as it is in the photo - always a crapshoot when you're buying a gigantic centerpiece for a room without seeing it firsthand I got it for my bedroom, which is has a very leafy-green theme to it, and the leaf-greens didn't match with any greens in the rug, which is very sage-y in color. Fortuitously, my living room has pale sage-colored leather furniture in it, and the rug seriously ROCKS in there. It is so pretty, I would have changed my "linens theme" to match the rug in my bedroom, however, had it not worked out so well in the living room It is unique, with its sculpted/etched design. Gorgeous. Not super-plush nor is it advertised as such , so get a pad if you want a "spongier" carpet surface. A super-classy rug that works well in my sophisticated glass-and-leather living room or rustic oak-and-leafy bedroom, and is a stunner on solid oak floors.
