Stephen Birch: Really Nice Solid Wood Feel

I purchased these as a companion to a vintage 1930s walnut dining table and the color was spot on. The height is better than other options tried another brand with the chairbacks being higher than competitors. Be prepared for two frustrations - the one side of the seat bottom dowl guides were broken all four chairs I got making the chair back assembly a bit of a circus act to balance the one side without the support of the guide. And as mentioned, the hex "tool" they provide does not fit the space in which they want to tighten the nut - grab some needlenose plyers before you assemble. Otherwise pretty happy with the value.
