More beautiful in person.The leather straps on a wicker-type chair with the low-back casual design of midcentury makes them completely modern and elegant. All of it works together in such a way that's so unique and different, and juxtaposition of the different styles balance each other out. The leather makes the white wicker look much richer, more modern and less feminine. The black iron legs also balance the softer white, but are so discreet, the white seats almost appear to float. And their transparency, from the small legs to the loose weave of the leather keeps them light and airy. Decorating with white is harder than one might imagine. And white dining chairs can be a nightmare to keep clean, while white *leather* may clean better but give that "Miami white" super mod vibe that isn't at all what we were going for. These look perfect, though they are not the most comfortable. That's my only complaint, but by the looks of them, I did not expect them to be super comfortable. My other concern is how much will the leather stretch over time if used often, and will I be able to keep them clean and looking as good as they do now. All leather stretches Maybe I'll update in a year or two
