This rug is perfect for my dining room. It looks like the pictures. I didn't go by the word 'teal' as it's obvious by the pictures on Amazon that it certainly is not what most would consider teal. The color is slightly brighter in real life - more of a light baby blue than grey blue. It goes very well with my table and light grey walls. It's replacing another Safavieh Chelsea rug that was not the right color after we remodeled. They hold up well - I have no complaints for the price. I have never had a wool rug that did not shed. For that matter, I have never had a wool rug that stopped shedding when I vacuumed but then I've never purchased a very expensive one. There are no loose fibers and I don't notice anything drifting onto the hardwood floors. Note that it is a 'flat' rug but that's what I wanted. My other Chelsea rug held up to cat vomit and spills. I suspect this will do the same. I am thrilled with how nice it looks.
