Stephen Gray: Mostly Good

Installation of this ceiling fan is straightforward, directions were clear and there were even a couple of spare parts included for the kinds of tiny pieces like screws that get dropped and end up in never-never land. The fan motor is very quiet, the fan moves plenty of air and is well-balanced. The stained glass shade is attractive, especially when lit. The only real downside is the level of illumination, which is low and the reason I give it 4 stars. The fan comes with two candelabra style bulbs that seem to function best as illumination of the stained glass shade. They will not illuminate a room unless all you want is to be able to see where the furniture is so you don't stub your toe.
