Pretty, transitional fixture and a great price.We ordered this chandelier to replace our dining room light fixture, and wanted something transitional. This is perfect for us: a traditional design but with contemporary lines, pretty but not overly formal. We installed this ourselves. I've installed several fixtures like this, so it went pretty smoothly, but I do think the instructions are a little lacking if you've never done that before. It's just a diagram, no real directions. We used bolt cutters to cut off the excess chain. Even with the little bit of extra time to assemble it ourselves, it was worth every minute. It's so much prettier than any fixture I've seen in a store and the price couldn't be beat. For a week, every time someone in our family walked by the dining room, we heard, "I love it It looks so pretty " I'd definitely buy it again if I could
