Go dark if you need to for the hours you workThese curtains are wonderful and they are not heavy. The fabric is amazing and the looks are fantastic. The back is wonderful for keeping warmth in. One recommendation. If you like a really dark room, I personally would go with the darker color. I have the lemon in a North guest room. I would not call it dark when I step into the room. I would suggest that you try them.
