Jute, sisal, and seagrass rugs work best in lower-traffic areas of your home such as bedrooms, living rooms, dens, and dining rooms.

Handmade rugs should be treated more carefully than machine-made rugs. We recommend shaking off any dirt or debris rather than vacuuming.

For smaller areas we recommend a 5 x 8 or 6 x 9 rug. If you are placing the rug under a coffee table, make sure that it can accommodate all four legs of the table

Larger rooms typically require a rug that is between 6 x 9 and 8 x 10 . Place the front legs of your sofa on top of the rug or have all four legs rest on the rug

To have furniture framed in the center of a large room, we recommend a 9 x 12 or larger rug. An equal amount of floor space between 12 – 18 should be left on all sides if possible

rwcmom: UPDATED: REVIEW w/PICS- 5/15/2020- Please see below- FADED, NOT STAIN RESISTANT AT ALL

UPDATE: I loved the colors of this rug when it first came, however, after 2-3 mos it has started to fade terribly. The gray is actually starting to turn pink. The pictures look like we sprayed bleach onto the carpet, but we have not sprayed anything on it. It is being bleached by the sun coming in through the window. In fact, this is as a result from very little sun hitting the rug as we had them closed for about 50 of the time. It's not reversible since the tag is sturdily sewn into the product and it several inches large. As previously noted, this is not for a high traffic area, it's very difficult to keep clean and seems to really absorbs any tiny spot.
