Red Ball Jets: Replacement gas strut for my 15 YO 2004 Aeron chair

I received this strut and as the photo shows, I wasn't sure this was correct comparing the two side by side But it is correct and works much better than the older strut which was starting to stick. I've read reviews stating how hard it is to remove the old strut but I found, just give it a good whack and you're done. Re-assembly is about 60 seconds. Before you start whacking on the old strut, put safety glasses on JIK. And place a 2X4 between the strut and your hammer.
