I purchased this as a unique floor lamp for my modern living room and have received a ton of compliments. The height is very adjustable and I put a low-watt bulb inside to provide ambient lighting. The light canister is larger than I expected a good thing and is comparable in size to a standard lamp shade so it looks really good in the corner of the room. I would give 5 stars except the power cord is black and comes directly out of the back of the light I hate looking at cords so you can't really hide the cord. It would have been better if the cord could be fed through one of the legs.
