Not for computer workI was looking for a new chair to replace about 15 old chairs in our office, which would be used at desks for data entry work. Immediately after sitting in this chair I had a sinking feeling that it wasn't going to work. The backrest sloped way too far back to support me when typing at a computer unless I slouched quite a bit. After using this chair for just a couple of hours, my back already hurt I don't normally have back pain and the arms were too low. I will say that if your job involves leaning back in the chair to make phone calls or watch a screen or something similar, this chair should be very comfortable for you. I'm returning this chair and I've purchased a much more comfortable task chair
