Unfortunately this lamp did not meet my expectations. As with most things now it was made in China. The top section of the stand was imprecisely cast causing the shade to tilt to one side. We were able to correct this somewhat by placing half of a washer on the lower side, however the finial on top remains crooked. This was a birthday gift for my mother in Canada. She did not want me to bring it all the way back to return it, although that is what I would have done. Not the quality I was expecting for the price. I do have other Tiffany lamps and have had no issues with those.
