Customer reviews5 STAR HEATER, 1 STAR BASE
This little heater is well made. Survived a 4 foot drop to concrete only popped off the grill. It does require 2 hands to light. One to hold in the red button, one to hold the lighter/match/whatever. I was disappointed at 1st because I only have use of 1 hand. But I'm use to making my own adaptive devices so I made a little aluminum clip thing that will hold in the button while I light it the thermocouple heats up. Of course I take the clip off after it's going or that would defeat the safety shutoff. Having different click setting makes it nice to adjust output. I like to sit out in the yard in the morning but it's cold in the desert in the winter. If a wind is blowing, it will blow out on low. I think it might stay lit on high, but I haven't tried that yet.
