Because acrylic has a relatively soft surface and is flexible, some imperfections or distortions may occur.

To clean acrylic, polystyrene and plexiglass that has slight blemishes, fingerprints or dirt, start off by clearing away any debris. Then, use a premium micro-fiber cloth with alcohol cleaning solution or soapy water to clean the entire surface area. After wetting the cloth, be sure to lightly blot the surface, rather than applying pressure as you wipe. Too much pressure can actually result in more scratches. After you have wiped the entire piece of acrylic, use the dry side of the cloth to dry or buff the area. Buffing or polishing the acrylic surface reduces future stains. If there are any remaining streaks, rewet the cloth and dry again.

Choose Carefully: There are a couple of cleaning items that you'll want to stay away from. In fact, using the wrong cleaning product can completely damage your acrylic displays to the point that they become unusable

Amazon Customer: Sharp edges for babies- cut toe

I bought this mirror due to all of the great reviews from moms saying they got it for their babies. I was looking for a playroom mirror that wouldn t be sharp or break. When I got it I felt the edges, they weren t rounded but didn t feel sharp. Unfortunately I didn t try running my finger along the side and figured it would be safe secured to the wall. I used 3m stickers and stuck it straight to the wall.. within 24 hours by 6 month old sliced her toe on the mirror : thankfully it was just superficial but there was blood everywhere I duct taped the edges with decorative duct tape which fixed the sharp edges problem but I feel terrible and this is not a safe mirror for babies without the edges taped
