2ndChance: Nice headboard. Too bad the mounting holes didn't line up.

Overall, this headboard is nice. It's sturdy and look great. It comes with several adaptors to install it to your type of frame. I have a traditional metal frame so the vertical supports should have screwed right into the frame. The holes didn't line up. They were too close together. I ended up having to hog out the holes to get them to space out correctly. I didn't have a round wood file so I stepped it up by using larger drill bits. It got to the point where it was going to affect the integrity as the holes were getting too close to the edge. I was able to mount it but the screws are sorta spread out. Overall the install should have taken maybe 30 minutes. It ended up taking a few hours because we had to come up with the solution.
