Customer reviewsNice Fan, enjoying the remote
This fan replaced one about 20 yrs old that could no longer be adjusted with the pull chain. Now with the remote and no chains, we have full control again of the light and the fan speed. It took me about 2 hours to remove the old fan and replace with this one. My one mistake was to take all the bolts and washers out of their plastic bags before I started. Big problem For some reason, this fan utilizes very similar sized bolts. So it took some trial and error to find the right bolts for the different steps, rather than relying on the bags with unique symbols on them. I had to scrounge in my shop for a few bolts. Don't know if my fan was short these or not, but there were sure not any extras. Just follow the instructions carefully -- especially the wiring -- and you will be fine. Fastening the wooden fan blades on the motor was the hardest step because of lack of clearance for a screwdriver, but I finally got the hang of it. My fan did not need balancing and is very quiet.
