Izzy Luggs: Smells To High Heaven

I've purchased several pieces of Leick furniture in the past and was always extremely satisfied. And in terms of material and construction this bookcase is just as good a quality item. But for some reason it had a horrible chemical stench to it that overwhelmed my entire apartment and forced me to put it on the patio to air out for a few days. The smell was so bad it made my eyes water, cough uncontrollably, and gave me a busting headache. Perhaps the wood stain wasn't allowed to dry completely before packaging it for shipment At any rate, it's on the back patio and will stay there until it stops stinking.
