Beautiful and bright if you add low watt LEDs. Not an east install for DIYers. Be patient and have help.first, this light is beautiful. It works well over longer tables and spaces. It comes with incandescent light bulbs which weren t very bright so I replaced them with 5 watt LED bulbs and now this fixture is very bright. With the brighter LEDs, it s bright enough to do homework by but we tend to leave it halfway for dinner.
