Straps and ropes don't withstand the claimed weight limitThe hammock's claimed weight limit is 500 lbs but the straps snapped at the combined weight of two people equalling 400lbs. The rope loops at the ends of the hammock started internally tearing. You can see in the pictures the green fibers popping out.
