Modern casual for 100 can t be beatI searched amazon, eBay, Lowe s, Home Depot looking for a chandelier for over our kitchen table. Photos do it justice, steel rods and hardware are a dark brown color. Champagne in this case is a lightish beige on the lampshade. Be aware, when the light is off, the lampshade actually has gold sparkles in it, looking shiny, like gold decorative ribbon. I guess like champagne in a glass It shimmers but not like brighter bling. I was unsure how this would look but when the light is turned on, it looks like a regular linen lampshade, you don t see the shimmering at all. The light takes 3 regular bulbs, maximum 60 watt each and it lights up our 60 x36 kitchen table area beautifully. The bottom of the lamp has a full white frosted cover/diffuser so the light won t be too glaring sittting beneath the hanging lamp. Very simple stylish modern casual look just like the pictures. For the price, this can t be beat. Steel chain, rods and lamp frame all solid gauge, no cheap plastic. Looking at other chandeliers this type could easily cost 300 or more. Very happy with purchase, highly recommend.
