I just received this lamp today and set it up. I love it Very nice looking and the marble-like piece below the shade looks great. The shade allows for a lot of light when the dimmer switch is fully on. The best part is that there is no light switch on the lamp. The power cord has a box that you slide up and down depending on how much light you want and you can just maneuver it with your foot. The box has a small light on it so you see where it is the dark. Was very easy to put together as well. Highly recommend this lamp.
