A place to sit and thinkThis is a veery good ottoman/storage. it sits near my desk and one of my Yorkies is always occupying it. It is big enough to be useful in storage near my desk, yet small enough to be easily moved. It is high enough I can lean back in my chair and have my feet up on it at my desk. I like this unit and my wife ordered one for the same purposes in her office. It is a vinyl outer covering and the overall construction is not heavy duty. An adult of normal size and weight would not worry about it collapsing merely by sitting on it. It might not be something to have two adults on at the same time. It has hinges on the back to open the lid, and a hinge that holds it open once you raise the lid. The inside is lined sufficiently to have a finished look and feel to it. I have purchased 2 of these and if I had a need for another one, I would purchase another. It came well packaged and all you have to do is observe the shape of the legs and screw them into the proper location as indicated in the instructions.
