In the past we have purchased intex pools from Walmart. The first one lasted 9 years 100 a year to swim whenever we wanted : the second one we bought at Walmart By the end of the second year it looked 90 years old we did not swim in it because of the top side being so frayed. Just holding on by strings. So I needed therapy and was afraid of the pool soooo I ordered this new one from AMAZON and am so happy with it. The vinyl or whatever it is made of seems so much tougher than the others. If you want a pool like this get it here soooo much better Thank you Amazon
