Nice wood, but edge was damaged due to poor packaging. Amazon shipped a replacement, but it was damaged worse. Am returning it and will repair the first one. Box ripped in several places, poor styrofoam protection, came that way from Malaysia. But the table itself is nice, so if I can file and mark/color the edge of the dropleaf, no one will know, and it will work well in my office. I'm assembling the legs now. Will need to bring needle-nose pliers into work to pull off all the staples from the bottom that held the parts and string. The wood is very nice - I think it will look nice in my office and be comfortable for four people to work around when I need to - 42 inches gives you a lot more space than a 36 inch table. I just finished assembling it - pretty easy. So far, so good. Will need to bring furniture polish into work, then the pic will look even better.
