Customer reviewsthis fan has to have the remote put into your light box.
This fan is attractive. It seems to work well. It is a DC motor so be ready for a different experience. You have to wire the remote into the switch box in place of one of the switches. Everything you do on the remote beeps loudly and I mean you'll hear it all over the house. lol When you turn the DC motor on to make the fan go it moves slightly back and forth and takes a few seconds to start. I just hope the remote never tears up because I don't think the fan would be usable then. If it had been up to me I would have sent it back because of the remote issues and beeping but my husband likes it. It is pretty so....and its a hunter.....just very quirky.
