Customer reviewsThe installation process is less than fun. For reasons unclear to me
I suppose I didn't learn my lesson from the last Hunter fan I bought. The installation process is less than fun. For reasons unclear to me, they have the receiver for the remote external to the body of the fan. When you wire the fan, you have to wire the fan to the receiver, then the receiver to the ceiling. The fan also does not appear to be well balanced, since it wobbles at higher speeds, despite the previous fan same place, same mounting not having this problem. I've also tried several light bulbs in this fan and, despite multiple configurations, I'm unable to produce more than dim, ambient light with both of my Hunter fans. I have a Harbor Breeze fan that was around the same price and does not have any of these issues.
