Sturdy lamp with not-your-typical-arc frameA great lamp for the price. Before buying this lamp, I bought a flimsy arc lamp that danced whenever anyone walked within a few feet of it. This one does no such thing. The lamp is sturdier, and its frame has a stylish, somewhat unusual shape. It s not just a straight arm or arc. The fabric shade is nice but I was a little disappointed by the plastic diffuser at the bottom. I hoped for fabric there. The marble base is heavy. It fits into the corner of my room a little oddly due to the diameter of the base, but really, the thing looks great and puts out just the right warm white light with a 75W-equivalent soft white LED. NOTE: In the photos, I do not have the arm fully extended. It goes out a foot or more farther than shown.
