Each is hand crafted to show off the beauty of the natural wood. Made from the branches of the acacia tree in Thailand – where each branch is cut and carved to order allowing the tree to continue growing , the wood is dried, carved and sanded by Thai artisans, creating a beautiful, sturdy and sustainable one-of-a-kind functional work of art. Each is then rubbed in lives walnut tone oil creating a water resistant and food safe matte finish.

Yes, both of the items I ordered came a bit sooner than expected. I had ordered this table and the Haussmann Eco End Table Stool Double Twist 12 in SQ x 23 in High Walnut Oil. The tables were individually double-boxed and the inner boxes were very sufficiently stabilized and protected by solid cardboard corner braces. When I got the first box open, it took my breath away to see the beginning of the table that was inside. The same thing happened with the second table. One of the tables has what they have noted as natural markings by handling/production and from the tree they come from. I have placed that end down on the floor as I prefer the larger darker ring/circular pattern on the top section to the smaller pattern on what is now the bottom. That took care of the production marks. I absolutely love these tables and it's obvious they do too in the way they are packed for shipping. I had been admiring one of these tables for quite some time. Glad to have two of them now. Very happy.
