Blue Bird: Rustic, yet elegant, Using 40 watt bulbs, very bright w/9 bulbs. Dimmer switch adds a nice effect.

We are very pleased that we chose this fixture after considering several other types of chandeliers and tiffany-style ceiling lights for a large room with a 10 ft ceiling. I purchased the professional installation option from Amazon and it was worth it the electrician opened the box outside to prevent the styro-foam particles from making a mess in my home. He took time to remove links to adjust the height the way I wanted it, then cleaned up his mess and took the shipping box and all the packaging and scrap wire to my trash can. It's a beautiful piece, many compliments from friends. We replaced the 60 watt with 40 watt bulbs and added a dimmer to the switch. It puts out a lot of light even with 40 watt bulbs, nine bulbs total. You have to buy bulbs separately. We added shades for awhile but we removed them, we prefer the "candle lit" way it looks without shades. In the fall we change to amber colored bulbs which obviously changes the hue of the lighting but it's festive for Halloween/Thanksgiving time. Be mindful of the height dimensions it is perfect for our home.
