An elegant statement piece with a side dish of crystalline whimsyThis fireworks chandelier is an absolutely gorgeous addition to our eldest daughter's room. We just moved into a new-to-us home and let both our girls pick out new light fixtures for their new bedrooms. This one fit the bill in the eyes of our 8-year-old, and I can honestly state that it was a very wise and beautiful choice. The room glows when the light is on, and when it's off, the room glistens with natural light that's reflected off the little crystals. I often find myself walking by, noticing the fixture out of the corner of my eye, and stopping in my tracks just to admire it. It reminds me of a sparkling dandelion that's gone to seed. My husband installed the light, and as I recall, the trickiest aspect was determining which wire was "hot" and which was "neutral". The clear casing around both wires causes confusion as does the lack of a noticeably vivid stripe on the neutral wire. I believe my husband ended up back on Amazon scrolling through the reviews for this light to see if anyone posted helpful wiring hints. Someone did thank you, Person one of the clear casings has a very slight white line printed on it and I mean very slight , which is quite difficult to see without studying the wires at nose length. In any case, once this issue was sorted out, the installation went rather quickly. Even attaching all the little crystally "fronds" didn't take too long. We ended up switching out the bulbs white-glow for yellow-glow , and we'll eventually put in a dimmer switch, but these are personal preferences. If you're at all on the fence about this fixture, I say go for it. It's an elegant statement piece with a side dish of crystalline whimsy that will stand the test of time.
