The drawers are floating drawers and not actually attached to the bed.This is a good bed for the price. It is fairly easy to put together and the wood is good quality. The drawers are like floating drawers on wheels so they don t attach to anything. You can easily adjust the drawers to be straight on the ground. All in all this is a good quality bed for a toddler or little kid.
