I bought the "Charlotte" light fixture three years ago from Amazon. Life intervened shortly after, so it sat in my garage, still in the box. I was cleaning out the garage, and found it My sweet husband installed it yesterday, and my beautiful daughter attached all the beads. I bought this for a long, narrow, dark hallway. It has recessed lights, and looks like a landing strip. There were three "cans", so we installed this little chandelier in the center. It is perfectly scaled for that, and looks adorable. The ceiling is nine feet, so we used only the down rod, and skipped the chain. The fixture will take three 60 watt chandelier bulbs, but we used 25 watts. It is still bright. My husband has installed many fixtures, and thought the wiring instructions could have been clearer, but they were still okay. My daughter had the beads on in about 45 minutes. She said it was a little tedious, but not difficult. It came with extra beads and parts, so don't throw away the tiny bag of chandelier "findings" accidentally, as I did The best thing about the "Charlotte" is that it combines "Empire" elegance with rustic, natural wood beads, so it fits into many decors. I live in Arizona, so my house leans towards "Rustic Western", with an eye to future buyers. This is really not my taste, so this fixture adds the more upscale style that I like. The current price for this piece is a "steal".
