Customer reviewsSimplicity with some style.
The very first thing I d like to point out is the fact that this is a split desk. It s split directly down the middle. But the metal hardware they send with it is very well made - in no way do I worry about the hardware failing and leaving me with a massive chunk of lost cash in monitors and particle board. The wood it s self is not exactly the best quality. It is particle board - but they have wrapped it with a carbon fiber vinyl that looks and feels very nice. I have plenty of leg room and plenty of desk space. I do like the cable management hardware that comes with it. It s a simple design, but actually very efficient. It will come with two plastic pieces that wrap around the rear edges which are fastened to the desk via wood screws. It has enough space to fit all of your cables nice a neatly which makes cable management actually manageable and hides it well, while still looking good. Then there is also a steel shelf, directly centered to the rear, to add even more cable management capabilities. It s perfect for your monitor s power adapters or any other wires. And even some sweet RGB if you want to add some more to it. You also have two cable grommets that you can slide open and close, or simply pop them out. The mouse pad it comes with is plenty big enough for a keyboard and your mouse. It s made with quality material and allows very easy movement of the mouse, but a nice under surface that will not slip. It s sturdy, big, can easily be put together by one person in about 30-45 minutes. It comes with an Allen wrench, which you ll need. You ll also need a philips head screwdriver. And the directions call for a drill. It can easily be done with a screwdriver, as the pilot holes are already drilled and the wood is fairly soft. Although I have several torque drills, I still opted to use a ratchet so I would be able to feel if the screw is stripping. Then hand tightened with a philips.
