These are great chairs. I ordered 2 sets of 4 chairs. I was a little nervous to order them since there were no reviews yet. I had been researching these type of chairs for weeks. I liked that they were sold from Brookstone through Amazon. I didn't want to order from unknown vendors. These were a little more than I wanted to pay, I had found some a little less expensive but I really wanted good quality. I'm very happy I ordered them. They are very sturdy, comfortable and stylish. I love the look of the gunmetal. It's not to shiny or to dull. The seat is just wide enough, other chairs I reviewed seem to have smaller seat sizes and I was concerned that they would feel uncomfortable to sit in. I like to have my family over and wanted everyone to fit on them. The height of the chair is just above my farmhouse table, I love that they don't take up a lot of space and block the view of my table. The wood on the seat is dark but I don't mind. Shipping took a little longer than I hoped for but it was worth the wait. They are packed very well with cardboard and styrofoam. There is a moth ball smell on the packing material, it does go away.
