Nonna: Heavy curtains, but not Blackout

Yeah, I'm giving 3 stars because 3 represents "It's Okay", but they are not as effective as I wanted. My sister found some at a store that sells what they get - one of those stores that if you see it buy it because they don't have a regular stock - and hers are true blackout curtains - in the middle of the day it made her guest room appear as if it was the middle of the night and I had to turn on the overhead light to find things. These, not so much. These let in enough light to find anything. They are blocking more light than what I had, but not as much as I want. I'm not sure if i will keep them or not yet. Pictures attached are from today at 4:13 p.m.
