Danny U: Instructions are poor. Can not flush mount. Hum in fan motor

Great looking fan. But we have noticed a hum from the fan motor that we don t get with same size cheaper Hunter fans. Also the instructions suck. If you follow them you will be missing a ring that covers the screws on the ceiling base. Also this fan cannot be mounted flush to ceiling.
