K. Stanfield: Read the materials because it's not real glass. Absolutely beautiful tho. I would recommend.

I bought this for my mother's birthday and set it up ahead of time. Pros: 1 absolutely changes the ambiance of any room to feel like you have steeped back in time. You can literally stare it and start imaging being in a different era. 2 it isn't as delicate as one may expect because it's not actually real glass. 3 it's not as heavy as I thought. 4 it really is blue when off and looks totally different when on. 5 you have lighting options. There are two light bulbs under the shade in one very small one inside. You can just have the small light inside the "body" on for a nice dim light, and have the options for the upper two. Cons: 1 it's not real glass but that was my fault for not reading the materials. 2 it has some weird oily reside on the all over it. 3 It didn't seem worth the money I paid for it at first but, once I plugged it in, I was memorized. So was my husband. This gift is for my mother but my husband likes it just as much as do I and we are going to get one for ourselves soon. I would recommend this product.
