I am using this in my bedroom as a night table. I have traditional cherry wood furniture and wanted to add a modern farmhouse piece. The nightstand is very light weight. I would recommend for than a decorative piece. I did place a lamp on it. Knobs were easy to put on. I am 62 and was able to move it from front porch delivery to bedroom by myself. It is a cute accent piece. I love the neutral colors that I carried over into my master bath. This is not a heirloom piece. You get what you pay for, but it works for me.
