The rug arrived today and when we were unboxing I noticed a pretty strong odor of mildew. The color is fairly true to the picture and while the rug is not nearly as dense as what is described it is a very soft/ pretty rug. However I do not know what we are going to do about the mildew smell it is very strong and I can see that some of the yarn fibers are dirty. I intend to contact customer service tomorrow to see how to proceed. At nearly 8x10 the rug is large enough that we willl need to have it professionally cleaned which may be about as much as the return shipping cost. This rug is intended for my 7 month old daughter's room, and as it stands currently it is unusable. I will update my review after I've spoken with customer service.
