I purchased this Bedz King bunk bed 2 months ago. 5 Stars for the bunk bed, 1 star for the trundle. The assembly was a bit daunting with all the pieces but finished putting it together in about 4 hrs with help from a friend. The trundle design is terrible, difficult to pull out and push in although a hard surface flooring would probably make a big difference. It is virtually impossible to get the trundle in perfectly straight and one side or the other on the back side hits the frame. Every time I tried to push it back in I had to get on the floor, put my back against the wall and push it over with my feet, then invariably the other corner hits the frame and I'd have to repeat the process on the other side a pain. The ad states an 8.5" mattress will fit so I purchased an 8" Serta which was much much too tight. I purchased bed risers, which I had to modify to fit, the trundle still hit and I still couldn't push the bed in easily or straight and had to repeat getting on the floor and pushing with my feet. I spoke to a representative at Bedz King, who was very nice, suggested I cut the center support above the trundle to half the thickness to give it higher clearance, which I did and can now push the trundle in, not an easy slide but very doable. I also made pine guides, stained to match the bed frame, on each side of the bed frame, from front to back, along the floor so the trundle stays straight. I finally have a working trundle bed. 5 Stars for the bunk bed, 1 star for the trundle.
