Our Platform Beds employ a unique dual height slat kit and bed frame support system that eliminates the need for a foundation. Atlantic Furniture Platform Beds can be set in a high position to be used with a mattress only, or a low setting to accommodate for a mattress and foundation set. With both height settings and the unique dual-height slat kit, these beds are truly the most versatile beds on the market.

Atlantic Furniture Traditional Beds include three to four foundation support boards which support the mattress and foundation. Choose from our entire line of solid hardwood headboards, footboards, and bed frames to find the look that best suits your room.

The simplicity of the Newport Bed foundation is elevated by the stylish, yet functional, bookcase headboard. Equipped with two shelves and two compartments behind raised panel doors with easy-close metal hinges, the headboard provides extra space for both storage and display.

Nupraptor: I took a chance and I'm so glad I did

I normally base my purchases very heavily off customer reviews I won't order anything that doesn't have at least a few hundred 4 star reviews. I ran into trouble, however, when trying to find a full size bookcase bed - there just aren't that many and most had troublesome reviews. This looked good so I took a chance on it and it thoroughly surpassed my expectations.
